I offered to redesign the old DubaiKidz.biz website and give it a Content Management System. The original site had been designed in hardcode by its founder. With the redesign of the site came all sorts of related marketing material, such as business cards, flyers, advertising collateral, the bi-monthly html mailer to the over 8,000 members. With the introduction of the new professional design and SEO ratings, the site grew not only in its followers, but also with its advertisers. A sister site, AbuDhabiKidz.biz was then launched in 2010.

MaxieandTeddy.com

Denise approached me to design a set of wipe-able journals for parents to record Medicine and Food timings and quantities in. She required a logo, the actual books, minor marketing collateral and a website. The website was to be a one pager as Denise was still busy setting up. I also created a Flash flip through of the books for buyers to see samples of what they would be getting. The books are currently being sold via BubsBoutique.com.

Better Homes Emailer

An initiative aimed at clients. The overall branding was subdued in light of a heavy advertising campaign that was on the go. The layout was originally created in Fireworks and then transferred into raw HTML code for the actual mailer and then passed on to the programmers to complete the forms and absolute paths.

Creative Services Intranet

I initiated the implementation of an intranet site to advertise the services of the design department. It was also used as a tool for consultants to get to know the team and for the team to pass along some design tips that would help consultants to understand the Accenture brand.

Polyfab Middle East

Polyfab required assistance with various marketing collateral pieces. Their HQ in Australia had revamped the logo and therefore the Middle East branch required a letterhead and a brochure showcasing the canvas' they supply. I've also helped them with banners and exhibition stands for their participation in the Big 5 Expo.

Dubai International Academy

DIA required various design materials for internal marketing and branding. I updated their logo to give it more energy and also created a Diary for 2011. Various other materials for school events have been created as well.

Tiger Woods calendar

Due to the success of the 2005 calendar, which I designed, I was asked to produce the 2006 calendar as well. Originally only for the South African practice, it ended up being distributed to other global offices as editable files for them to amend the public holidays as required.

Mobile Banking flyer

The project was originally created as a PowerPoint slideshow, which the consultants wanted print out as a flyer. I suggested the new format which better lended itself to the print requirements and also ensured adherence to the strong global brand.

Shared Services brochure

I worked in conjunction with the Accenture inhouse Marketing department to create this brochure, which was awarded a Best Practice piece in the global brand audit. The brochure was a big success and now forms part of on going collateral for consultants to use when dealing with Shared Services.

Inflight magazines

As the Creative Director for TA Publications and its 3 monthly inflight magazines (Indwe - SA Express, Marung - Air Botswana and Flamingo - Air Namibia) I was the sole creative on all 3 projects. This meant working closely with the Sub-Editor and Advertising department to ensure the timeous delivery of the magazines to the aircrafts at the end of each month.

Corporate Identity

While working at Advertising Studio 136, I redesigned their logo to update it from the old blue and purple one. I used the dots, to help represent the numbers from within the name, so that in future clients would easily associate the stacked dots with the ad studio.

Personal Identity

For freelance work, BW (Before Wilson), I used the personal logo I created back in college and simply worked under my name. The logo is a very strong typeface so it needed little embelishment.

Logos

While working at Screen Image I was required to redesign a few of their existing clients logos. The logos were then used throughout the clients branding (decals, surfboards, tshirts, etc).

Fuel Services

A Flash presentation was required to show clients the services that could be offered. It had to be short and captivating, but still needed to get across the myrid of services that Accenture could offer the client. I created this Flash presentation that showed the points in text with supporting images and added a dynamic soundtrack to help bring it all together.

Standard Bank

As a client of Accenture's, Standard Bank required an interactive flash presentation to help bring across the new implementations within their HR structure. I was requested to create a presentation that would allow the presenter to click through to the various stages, when needed. The flash files were used in seminars to educate Standard Bank employees.

Better Homes Interiors

The Interior Design department within Better Homes wanted a portfolio CD cataloging various projects they had undertaken. The deliverable needed to be easy for clients to browse and view on their own time. I created setup the files so that it would be simple to add in any new projects that had been undertaken. Therefore making it easy for both client and creative.
